  • MOTHERS DAY PRAYER.

PROVERBS 31:31. Give her the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Dear Father, we approach Your throne on behalf of the mothers whom You have entrusted with the care of Your most precious little ones. We thank You for creating each mom with a unique combination of gifts and talents. We thank You for the sacrifice of self each mom gives for her children. For the late nights spent rocking a colicky infant. For the hands calloused from washing, wiping, scrubbing, mixing, backing, stirring, hugging, patting, discipling, holding, writing, erasing, painting and pouring. We pray You give each mom strength. Help her to 👀 see in every mundane task the eternal, cosmic significance that You place on motherhood. We ask that the same grace that flowed from Father to Son to us in salvation will flow from mothers to their children. We pray that each mother rejects perfectionism and instead embraces the goodness of the gospel. We pray the rhythms of repentance and forgiveness shape every home. Most of all, Lord, on this day in which we honor mothers, may we love and cherish the special women who have born us, who have nurtured us and who have prayed for our well-being. May our hearts overflow with gratitude to You, Who formed and knitted each of us in a mother's womb. In Jesus name I pray with thanksgiving. Amen!

  • Igbos Cannot Rule Nigeria – Tunde Bakare

Pastor Tunde Bakare of Citadel Global Community Church, Lagos has made a shocking revelation.

He said: “Why should anyone in this country say the Igbo man cannot be president of Nigeria?”

“Are they not Nigerians? I was at Imo and I told them the reason why the Igbo cannot rule Nigeria and I want to remove the curse today.”

“Do you know what happened? “The day they killed Tafawa Balewa, they removed his turban, poured wine on his head. Forced him to drink, and shot him and why he was being killed. He said, none of your tribe will ever rule Nigeria.”

“God has instructed me to break the curse of Tafawa Balewa on the Igbos.”

“I want to break the curse today because this generation of Igbo was not part of those people.”

“You cannot overgeneralize. So, on the authority of God’s word. I reversed the curse of Tafawa Balewa over the Igbo generation.”

“Henceforth, the Igbo will have access to the throne-like any other Nigerian.”

“What does God want us to focus on? Miracles, signs, and wonders? Without you demonstrating that you cannot preach the full gospel.”

“You cannot preach the full gospel without those signs following, but when Reinhard Bonke came here with miracles, signs, and wonders, has Nigeria changed?”

“There are many tremendous evangelists with power, miracles, signs, and wonders in the country, has Nigeria changed? No! You see, if we don’t rise above tribal and religious differences, we can’t fix our nation. We can’t repair the bridge. We can’t restore our past to dwell in.”

  • Obiano's Wife Exposed

Trouble started on Sunday the 16th of November, 2014, after the dedication of the child of the Anglican Bishop of Awka, His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. Ibezim at the cathedral of St. Faith, Awka.

The wife of the deputy Governor complained to the wife of Dr. Alex Ekwueme, being a mother of all, on how Ebere Obiano does not carry her along in whatever she does.

Desirous of brokering peace, Ekwueme’s Wife, Beatrice got audience with Mrs Obiano where she advised her on the need to carry everybody along, especially the wife of the deputy Governor.

At this point, Mrs Obiano flayed and claimed that the constitution recognizes her and not the Wife of the Deputy.

Immediately her Deputy shouted back, Mrs Obiano slapped her.

It took the intervention of security men to prevent the duo from physical fight.

In the quarrel, the wife of the Deputy Governor told her that she cannot kill her as she killed her maid, nor slap her as she usually slaps drivers.

As the exchange of foul words continued, Sir Victor Umeh took the deputy governor who was there away as he felt completely dejected.

Three months ago, another story leak of how the Mrs. Obiano engaged in an open quarrel with a member of the House of Representatives from the state, Uche Ekwunife.

    Another story :

If not for the intervention of the First Lady, Dr. Patience Goodluck, the member representing Anaocha, Dunukofia and Njikoka Federal Constituency of Anambra State, Hon Uche Ekwunife would have been attacked by the Wife of Anambra State Governor, Mrs Ebele Obiano in faraway Poland.

Both women were on the entourage of the First Lady to Poland.

Trouble started when on arrival with the First Lady, who was accompanied by Uche Ekwunife, Bola Shagaya and others, Ebele Obiano who was among those at the airport to receive the First Lady greeted every other person except Uche Ekwunife.

Later in the day, when Ebere Obiano came to see the First Lady, according to source with the First Lady, she again greeted everybody except Uche Ekwunife.

Those who had noticed the trend asked her why the childishness, pointing at Uche, she said ” I do not greet prostitute,” to the astonishment of all those around.

Uche Ekwunife did not talk, according to our source, until Ebele Obiano told her that she will deal with her and make sure she crumbles all her businesses in Awka.

Enraged, Uche said “I will not trade words with you. That you killed your husband’s first wife for him to marry you does not mean you can deal with other women [Ebere Obiano used to be the secretary to Obiano until he lost the wife and married her]; that you are dealing with your alcoholic husband does not mean you can deal with me,” Ekwunife said to Ebele Obiano.

Confused, Ebele Obiano said ”My husband drinks champagne not alcohol,” providing comic relief that set everybody laughing.

About to go physical, Dame Patience Jonathan intervened, joined by other women.

They lambasted Obiano’s wife for lack of manners and morals.

Patience Jonathan said, “Instead of you to go to Margaret Obi to teach you how to be a First Lady, I heard you no longer talk to her. This your behaviour today has confirmed all that is said about you. Please, if this is how you behave, never join me on any trip again, both within and outside the country.,”. Copied
